“This was the first time I had visited a quick care in a long time. I could not get into my regular doctor in a timely manner. I was glad I came even though I did not have to have any x-rays, tests or blood-work. The doctor explained in detail why I was having so much pain and gave me things to watch for if things got worse. This put me at ease since my situation was very painful. I would come again if needed. The doctor listened to all my questions and seemed very concerned for me. “A truly wonderful, friendly, caring medical team from when we walked in the front door to be seen by Dr. McMichen for a second degree burn on my ankle from spilling a whole cup of freshly brewed coffee down my leg. Ouch! My wife and I were waiting in the exam room for our clinical summary report and were already talking about how great everyone we had talked with on this visit was. We feel our community as a whole is really blessed that we have this American Family Care center so close to us and that it is managed with this amazing staff. We will continue to tell our friends and neighbors that we would recommend this as the first place to go when anyone in their family is in need of immediate medical care. Harrison L.

The wait times have been fast during all visit and yes I know that wait times are dependent on the number of patients but I felt I should still say that the wait times were great. I believe in the Urgent Care business model and use the services when I feel time is important (i.e., being seen quickly and professionally versus working with primary care doctor who may not be able to see me on the day of need).
