Don’t Let Stress Ruin the Fun… Are you stressed? Or are you too stressed to even know if you’re stressed?! There are many signs that may indicate you’re dealing with too much stress. For starters, if you’re grinding your teeth at night, then stress might be getting the best of you. That can be your body’s way of signaling that your stress levels are too high to be healthy. How can you help alleviate that stress? Well, while there’s nothing you can do while you sleep, you can help reduce the effects of stress by exercising regularly. Aim to get at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week, or around 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week. Second, is your head throbbing? A tension headache caused by stress could be to blame. Find relief by no longer focusing on the negative but instead focusing on the positive. Instead of angrily assessing the situation, consider how you can learn from the situation or change it for the better. Finally, when you seem not to feel anything but tired, then stress might be getting the best of you. To help find your energy again, take time for yourself. You’ve likely heard that you can’t take care of others unless you first take care of yourself. That’s an absolute truth.
